Plott Dog Breed

The Plott is a medium sized dog being some 20-24 inches in height, and weighing 45-55 pounds. They're muscular in appearance with a long tail and medium sized hanging ears; their overall look is somewhat reminiscent of a Labrador.

Colouration of the coat can be any shade of brindle, which is a motley effect, they can also come in solid black or a mix the two, White in the area the chest and or feet is also common. They can be quite fast dogs and have a level of stamina that allows a high standard of endurance. One of the distinctive factors for this breed is webbing between the toes. German Shorthaired Pointer Dog

The German Shorthaired Pointer has a short thick coat that is predominately liver in colour, either solid liver, liver and white, liver patches/liver roan. In some countries their tails are docked, but this practice is now illegal in most countries. They have slightly long ears that lie flat and close to the head. They can stand up to 23 to 25 inches tall and weigh between 55 and 70 lbs. they are well proportioned dog with a broad and rounded skull, they have a slight stop and brown open nose. They have almond shaped eyes and compact feet that are webbed, their fur is rough to the touch but softer on their ears and head. German Wirehaired Pointer Dog Breed Profile

The German Wirehaired Pointer is a medium size, muscular dog often used for hunting. This dog weighs between 60 and 70 pounds and is 22 to 26 at the shoulder, depending on the sex of the dog. The German Wirehaired Pointer has a double coat, with a hard, wiry guard coat over a dense undercoat. The undercoat will be thicker or thinner according to the season. The colour of the coat is liver and white, solid liver, or roan spotted. The head of this dog is always liver. The tail is ordinarily docked. Affenpinscher Dog Breed

The Affenpinscher is a small dog that has shaggy fur. They have a wiry-type coat, their face fur is always longer than the body's fur. In size, they are smaller than a working terrier. They are a hardy breed of dog. They should have a reasonable but profound chest and a good square body. Their head should be round which transcends from the back skull to their muzzle. It has good straight teeth in its lower jaw, which are prominent from its nose. With lovely round eyes, that are black in colour. The neck needs to be short and arched. Their limbs are straight and well boned, not thin. Their tail is docked at two thirds its natural length. Ears are docked as well to give fine points and erect. Schipperke Dog

The Schipperke are a fairly small dog measuring some 10-13 inches in height and weighing between 12 and 18 pounds. They are a little fox like in appearance but obviously somewhat smaller. Their body presents a square like profile, with a proportionate head, sporting flat highly placed triangular shaped ears. Some of this breed are born without tails, and is customary to have the ones born with a tail docked, although in Europe docking is illegal except on medical grounds.
